Ah, you see here's where we've got ourselves a problem. Dissidia!Kuja is for the most part a good guy (with the exception of 013) but he's summoned to the villain's side and so he takes up the mantle to prevent guys like Kefka from utterly walking all over him. So if he encountered Sane!roth then he wouldn't resort to screwing with his head. Crazy!roth on the other hand he would because he'd perceive him as a threat. Unless this was FFIX-Disc-2/3!Kuja that was summoned.

For FFIX!Kuja that sentence was IC (and a damn good bit of goading too) but Dissidia!Kuja not so much. Yep, he is incredibly complicated to work out, I grant you.
