Random Chaos

I appear to have either borked my internal clock, or I’ve managed to catch myself something. I did not wake up until late this afternoon--closer to the evening actually. Considering that my vacation ends on Saturday, I probably should go ahead and get things back to normal. The plan tonight is to take an Ambien before bed and go to sleep at some reasonable hour--probably somewhere around midnight.

Right now, in my oven, I’ve got a small Pyrex baking dish in. There’s a basic apple crisp in it. I’ve made this dish once before. I consider it one of my special talents to be able to make a dish once and then be able to reproduce it from scratch, without a single look at the recipe.

Of course, it doesn’t hurt that an apple crisp is a deliciously rich yet simple dish to make.

Hasn’t been the best news day. It’s brought back the urge to shoot things and to stab things and otherwise destroy things. Let’s just say that once again I kind of want to approach the pope and give him a piece of my mind, on behalf of women everywhere who have either been killed by their pregnancies or would be if they were unlucky enough to do so.

I am going to get my mind off of the bullshenanigans by playing either some Dissidia or some Borderlands, whichever I happen to be less rusty at.
