Long day. Walked from train station. Found out the Counterburst Forums are shutting down because the moderator is frustrated. Now I’m depressed and need to inflict MUCH GRIEVOUS HARM to AI opponents to vent, and get a glass of icy cold cream!tea.
MEANWHILE HAVE A MEME.
I’ve got lots of these. Some of them are shippy, and some of them are just lulzy.
WoL should have had more interaction with Lightning in this game. I know the two were joined at the incredibly sexy hip in Prologus, but the point is I’d like to have seen more of that.
Keeping on Mr. Snookie Pie here, he should have also had interaction with Shantotto. Why? Because, during ???: Shards of the Cycle, there’s some serious creepy potential there:
Shantotto: And one who appears here without being called? The perfect test subject to keep me enthralled!
Who knows, maybe it’ll show up in an official quest and someone will translate for us.
Or I’ll wind up stuck here one day, unable to get to work because the elevators are down and I can’t handle the stairs AND walking to the train station, and do it myself. Problem is I can’t think of anything suitably creepy enough here…AND THAT’S A NEAT TRICK.
We needed more Vaan & Zidane. Two thieves running around? Hell yeah, sign me up.
Laguna and WoL. Why? JUST BECAUSE. It’d be like a So Bad It’s Good comedy routine.
And on that note, we needed some interaction with both of them along with Jecht.
…gee, I make WoL sound like he’s antisocial or something.

I've been playing with a good pair of Sennheiser headphones lately. Some characters are especially distracting right now. (I'M LOOKING AT YOUUUUU, GABRANTH…and Kain…and also WoL for that relatively uncommon "D'nngh!" sound that is just DISTRACTING.) I can only imagine the glory you're hearing right now, though.

I love it when S-E just about beats Kuja to the floor with misery (Japanese report 01 has Kefka practically SHRIEKING THEY RAN AWAY!!! into Kuja's ears) so maybe they'll do the same to a real man. (Kuja's so adorable when he suffers. *totally doesn't try to get the CPU to wall-smash him in Japanese so she can hear his adorable little whimper*)
Well now that I've got 75% hearing... *gets out earphones* There are still a few english voices I seriously miss (LIKE A REAL MAN FOR A START!!!) but some of the japanese ones make it feel like a decent trade off. Japanese!Cloud is very distracting... Oh man, Japanese!Cloud... listening to him and Kuja in report 01 is some very lovely fanservice. I swear the voice actors had a bet to see who could flirt with their microphone more...

Date: 2011-07-16 01:04 am (UTC)With report 01 they are seriously going to great lengths to try and keep their lines as breathy as possible; the way that Kuja greets Cloud is... Oh god! I swear my brain was translating "Oh...you're back early, Cloud. Did you defeat your enemy and settle your fate?" as a euphemism based on the way Kuja let his tongue savour the words! And then Cloud makes all these hot breathy grunts and OH GOD THE SHIPPYNESS!!! It doesn't help that Kuja's line "I don't intend to seek companionship from you" can also be translated as "I don't intend to have an illicit love affair with you"!
Seductive!Roth saves it for Cloud.
