All this month things have gone fairly badly.
It began with the second week of the month, when my bus pass was boosted after a jostle at the bus stop and forced me into using a weekly for the rest of the month. Rent obligations forced me into that arrangement ($68 would have killed the rent earmark); the rent was makeable but still I found myself forced to relinquish my computer. I might not have it until after ACen. Today I found that we only had the dough reserved for half the group. I'm on the edge with the hotel and my job as a pinched nerve in the hip/leg/back area has limited my ability to physically perform--I can't even DDR on it. Since a physical, anything requiring my lower body is physically impossible.
As if that wasn't enough, the stress of all of that has caused my skin to flare up with painful, itchy acne. My normal line is doing nothing but making the itching worse, and so I'm trying this line. It is free of dyes and low in additives--and marginally cheaper than Neutrogena (not as strong either, which is good--that line is especially bad with the itching).
Naturally, first thing I did was wash my face. Didn't like the look of the rinse. About the same as usual; just surprising that so little...stuff, to throw a word around, would cause a breakout that leaves me with a zit the size of a popcorn kernel right on my chin. And it's painful, too. ...Actually, the entire breakout zone is painful. Applied the serum right after according to kit directions; burns a little in the breakout's worse areas, soothing in the others.
Of course, it will take much longer than this to work on my skin. Here's hoping it does. I really don't want to go to a job interview with huge zits like the one I have right now.
